Uniform

The new school uniform, introduced in September 2006, was agreed in consultation with the school council.

The wearing of school uniform is compulsory as it has been chosen to represent the vision of the Academy. The uniform was chosen with a view to the students – the Academy’s ambassadors - conveying the message of being smart, proud and ready to work hard at all times.

Details of the uniform are as follows:

School uniform:
Burgundy blazer with school badge
Grey v-neck jumper with school badge
Grey trousers/skirt
White shirt and burgundy tie for boys
Pink open neck blouse for girls
Black tights/socks for girls
Black socks for boys

PE uniform:
Burgundy polo shirt with school badge
Burgundy tracksuit bottoms/shorts
Burgundy pleated skirt for girls
There is a uniform grant available for all pupils in Years 8 – 11.
