Homework

Homework is an important part of every student’s programme of study. It provides opportunities for students to consolidate their learning and develop skills of self-discipline and independent study. All new students receive a booklet on good homework practice and study skills, and a homework timetable is published each year. Teachers set homework in at least two areas daily, and students are required to record the task and deadline for completion in their student planners.

There is a homework club after Academy hours for those who wish to attend. We ask parents to encourage their child to complete homework and to sign the student planner each week.
