Duke of Edinburgh Award Ceremony  

St Mark's Academy is very proud of the 14 Year 11 students who were awarded their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Awards by Councillor John Dehaney, the Mayor of Merton at a ceremony at the Ursuline High School in Wimbledon on Wednesday 27 February. 

We expect these students to be the first of many, as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is now in its second year at St Mark's Academy and is going from strength.   

Two of our award winners - Faith and Derek - hosted the evening and entertainment was provided by the St Mark's Samba Band. There were many compliments about the excellent conduct and dress of our students. 

St Mark's Academy will host next year's ceremony in February 2009.
