Every Wednesday for 6 weeks these boys travelled to Sedgehill School in Beckenham to train for three hours and had matches on Sundays against other teams from the London premier youth league. Seth was appointed captain of the academy side; Clement and Kevin made the starting 11 & Mahid, Diego and Ashley made the squad.
The coaches were full of praise, in particular with Seth, who appointed him as captain for excellent leadership skills, ability and behaviour. The boys attended games with a shirt and tie and were appreciative of this opportunity to work with some great coaches. We have been contacted by professional football clubs who are really interested in taking a handful of these boys to their academies which we are so pleased about. The following boys also attended training but unfortunately didn't make the team but trained hard throughout the 6 weeks and trained with a whole host of different boys from different schools including Rutlish, Harris Merton, Sedgehill school, Bollingbrooke and many more
