Academy Specialism

All Academies are required to offer a specialism. In the case of St Mark’s this is Science, Enterprise and Technology.

The reason for choosing Science, Enterprise and Technology is to raise standards of achievement and the quality of learning in technology, science and a range of business-related studies, for students across the ability range; to build on the skills, talents and interests in the school. We also believe that this specialism will help students develop key skills needed for life, as well as increase their job opportunities.
