Academy Specialism

All Academies are required to offer a specialism. In the case of St Mark’s this is Science and Performing Arts.

The reason for choosing Science and Performing Arts is to raise standards of achievement and the quality of learning for students across the ability range; to build on the skills, talents and interests in the Academy.

We also believe that this specialism will help students develop key skills needed for life, as well as increase their job opportunities.
