Armstrong House
House Co-ordinator - Ms Dionne Jude
Armstrong House is named after Louis Armstrong (August 4, 1901 – July 6, 1971), who was nicknamed Satchmo or Pops. He was a famous American jazz trumpeter and singer from New Orleans, Louisiana. Armstrong achieved many things in his life, and is well known for being accepted by the mainstream - playing to both black and white audiences, at a time of racial unrest.
