Exam results

The final examination result information has been published today for all schools in the country. The good news for St. Mark’s is:
- 43% of students achieved good GCSE grades including English and Maths – an increase of 20% over last year – one of the biggest rises in London.
- 88% of students achieved 5 grades A*-C
- The progress made by students from their SATs results was very high – much higher than the average in the country and higher than the Merton average
- The progress made in both English and Maths exceeds the national average
The recent excellent “early entry” Maths GCSE results is good evidence the rapid improvement in examination results is continuing.
